Calcium Chloride Granulating Producing Line
1. Brief Introduction
Banghua has continuous top spray fluidized bed (square box type) spray granulation technology and continuous side spray fluidized bed (cylinder type) spray granulation technology. They are the latest and unique patent technology and also the most advanced technology in the industry of calcium chloride granulation. The technology has the advantages of large output, low energy consumption, higher stability and better product quality, can realize the production of burr and smooth spherical granules. Continuous top spray fluidized bed (square box type) spray granulation technology can realize 30 days trouble-free continuous running and continuous side spray fluidized bed (cylinder type) spray granulation technology can realize 90 days trouble-free continuous running.
1) Working Principle
Liquid materials go through the pump into the atomizer and form fine and homogeneous particles under the effect of atomizing air, and the particles contact with the high temperature hot air and complete the initial moisture evaporation in parallel flow way, then forming half dry powder by the convection of the air and falling into the bottom of the fluidized bed to granulate, and the final moisture will be evaporated in fluidized bed. Due to the surface of half dry powder is moist, and it acts on the seed crystal and makes the seed crystal gathered to granules.
2) Characteristics
1. Integrate spray, drying and granulation, and realize liquid materials to granules in one-step granulation.
2. Adopt the parallel flow spray and drying way, thus can smoothly operate the heat sensitive materials.
3. Use two-stage drying: spray drying and fluidized bed drying, can make the products achieve very low moisture content. The equipments are operated under the airtight negative pressure, so no dust float.
3) Fine Properties
A. Fluidized Bed
(1) The reasonably designed fluidized space makes the equipments not only ensure the effect of fluidization but also control the level of fluidization interface and reduce the powder adsorption, providing conditions for "liquid · solid" homogeneous combination.
(2) Improving the airflow distribution plate, equilibrating the inlet air pressure from the bottom of the fluidized bed, to avoid the "caking" and "chaneling" phenomenon caused by part of the materials flows slowly inside of the fluidized bed.
(3) To design air duct reasonably, reduce wind resistance and ensure adequate ventilation, improve evaporation efficiency and production efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
B. Spray Gun
Adopting pressure spray and multi-fluid spray gun (selected according to solution property), wide adjustable range for the atomization angle, reducing the occurrence of the "wall sticking phonomenon". The spray nozzle has better adaptability to theproportion of liquid materials. Energy saving and efficiency improvement. The new type fast-assembly structure can be easily replaced in the running of the equipment.
4) The Key Factors for Continuous Working

To achieve continuous running, must do the following three tasks:
1. To establish a good state of initial fluidization, unique advanced design for air distribution plate provides preconditions for "liquid · solid" homogeneous combination.
2. Unique spray gun provides granulation micro process guarantee for "liquid · solid" homogeneous combination.
3. Accurate automated process control, adopting PLC or DCS control system.
5) Energy Saving and Environmental Protection for Technological Process
1. Energy Saving
For the waste heat utilization of the flue gas (150-180ºC) exhausted from hot air furnace, adopting heat pipe waste heat recoverer to recycle some of the flue gas, which will make the exhaust flue gas temperature decreased to around 90ºC, the flue gas emission reduced over one third. The thermal efficiency can reach 78%.
For the exhausted tail gas temperature around 150ºC, the tail gas temperature can be decreased to 80ºCby absorption of the feed solution.
2. Environmental Protection
The flue gas emission of hot air furnace can reach Ringelmann Level 1, no black smoke emission. The desulfurization deduster can be added according to the customers' requirements to meet the environmental protection standard.
The exhaust dust can be absorbed by the spray tower to realize no dust emission. The feed solution as the absorption solution of spray tower increases the concentration and then reenter the fluidized bed for granulation. Closed cycle, no wastewater discharge, emission completely meets the standard.
